HOUSTON – One night after the top seven “The X Factor” competitors performed the music of Michael Jackson, two of them were sent home.
The four competitors designated for elimination were Josh Krajcik, Drew, Astro and Marcus Canty.
“The X Factor” judges opted to keep Krajcik and eliminated young rapper Astro, who caused a stir two weeks earlier during an outburst when he was almost eliminated.
Despite a plea from mentor and fellow judge Simon Cowell, judges L.A. Reid, Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul chose to keep Canty and let go of 14-year-old Drew.
