Reese Witherspoon Sings Christmas Carols on ‘Tonight Show’

Reese Witherspoon and Jimmy Fallon brought some holiday cheer as they sing some unusual Christmas carols.

Witherspoon appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon Tuesday night to promote her new film Wild. Fallon decided to get into the holiday spirit by asking Witherspoon to sing some Christmas carols with him, but these were not your typical “Jingle Bells” and “Deck the Halls” carols.

The duo participated in a segment called “Random Phrase Carols”, where they sing along to a popular Christmas melody, but the lyrics have been altered on a cue card. Fallon performed “small old man” to the familiar tune of “Jingle Bells”, and Witherspoon had trouble singing to the correct melody for her “Silent Night” random phrase carol.
