Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom are taking a break from their reality show Khloe and Lamar to focus on Lamar’s struggling career.
The 32-year-old basketball player is taking a shot for the 2012 U.S. Men’s Basketball team to compete at the London Olympic Games this summer.
“He’s training for the Olympics, he’s in the top 20 to go,” said Khloe. “Try-outs are in the first week of July. They only take 12 but to be in the top 12 is like a Grammy nomination. I didn’t pull the plug, let’s just call it a hiatus.”
Now the couple will have more time to spend with Lamar’s children, his daughter Destiny, 13, and ten-year-old son Lamar Jr.
“I just said I wanted the summer for ourselves and to be with family and spend time with his kids,” Khloe added on ‘The Tonight Show’.
Lamar is currently working on finding a new NBA team as well. The two time NBA champion has been listed on the Dallas Mavericks inactive roster since April. He is waiting to be released from the team to enter free agency.
