Channing & Jenna Dewan Tatum Team Up For Dance Competition Show

Dance stars Channing and Jenna Dewan Tatum are set to executive produce a new dance competition series for NBC.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the network has ordered six episodes of the currently untitled show – which NBC describes as a “fresh take on the dance competition genre”. While details are limited, Dewan Tatum is said to be a judge and mentor on the show, whereas husband and former Step Up co-star will only appear on occasion.

The pair, who met and fell in love while filming Step Up back in 2006, will produce alongside Peter Kiernan, Reid Carolin, and Dewan Tatum’s producing partner Meegan Kiernan for EndemolShine North America, Purple Cup and Free Association.

Dewan Tatum currently stars as Lucy Lane on CBS’s Supergirl, and has also made several cameos on Fox’s dancing competition program So You Think You Can Dance.

The Tatums recently made headlines when they appeared on Spike’s hit Lip Sync Battle, where Dewan Tatum epically performed her beau’s Magic Mike dance routine. Check out both of their performances below!
