HOUSTON – Last Friday, thirty eight year old Tosh Ingram drove through police barricades onto the set of film “Helen Alone” and crashed into a camera car as team members set up for a nighttime shoot.
The unfortunate event occurred on E. League City Parkway while crew was setting up to film the last few driving scenes of the production.
Ingram’s vehicle sideswiped the camera car; hitting three crew members. Soundman Kent Ohler, who sustained a broken leg and back injury, was taken by LifeFlight helicopter to a nearby hospital.
Tosh Ingram was charged with driving while intoxicated and will stand trial for his crime.
With a grimm setback, the filming for “Helen Alone” will remain on schedule and will conclude next month.
“Helen Alone” stars Daniel Baldwin, Alexis Raich and Priscilla Barnes and is set to release on October 1, 2013.
