The Killers have teamed up with director Tim Burton for the music video of their new single “Here With Me”.
Filmed at a seaside resort of Blackpool in Northwest England, “Here With Me” by The Killers definitely has Burton’s spooky touch in the video.
The Tim Burton directed video stars Winona Ryder as a mannequin. Burton said the inspiration for the video came after he first saw The Killers live in Blackpool, UK.
“When I heard the song Here With Me I remembered seeing a wax figure of Winona in Louis Tussaud’s Waxworks in Blackpool,” Burton recalled. He also drew inspiration from the 1935 film ‘Mad Love’, starring Peter Lorre, as well as works of Mario Bava.
