Shots were fired backstage at the BET Hip Hop Awards after Rick Ross and Young Jeezy got into a fight.
According to TMZ sources, the two rappers began pushing and shoving each other backstage during the awards ceremony after words were exchanged between the two. Security for the event and the rappers’ bodyguards separated the two rappers.
Funkmaster Flex posted on Twitter, “Jeezy and Rick Ross just had words backstage!! Pushing and shoving!!!”
Reportedly, a member of Rick Ross’ entourage pulled out a gun in the parking lot of the event and fired multiple shots. The gunman was reportedly taken into custody by the Atlanta Police Department.
