According to People, Louis Tomlinson of One Direction will soon be a dad.
The 23-year-old pop singer is reportedly expecting his first child with Los Angeles-based stylist Briana Jungwirth.
“Louis is happy and very excited about becoming a dad and he thinks Briana will be an amazing mother,” a mutual friend told People. “It was a surprise at first, but he and Briana are very, very close friends and this has brought them even closer.”
“Although they aren’t in a relationship, their friendship is extremely strong and they are both really excited about the baby,” the anonymous source added.
Tomlinson and Jungwirth met through mutual friends earlier this year and began dating after Tomlinson broke up with longtime girlfriend Eleanor Calder.
Tomlinson will be the first member of One Direction to have a child. The group recently kicked off the U.S. portion of their On The Road Again tour.
A statement has not yet been released by Tomlinson or One Direction regarding the news.
