The latest stop on Kanye West’s “Yeezus” Tour was a complete disaster. The controversial rapper filled only 4,500 of the 19,000 seats that where up for sale at Kansas City’s Sprint Center.
This is not the first setback Kanye’s latest road trip has encountered. Numerous dates on the tour’s itinerary have already been cancelled due to what Kanye claims are “technical difficulties” but the turnout at Sprint Center last night may be the real reason why.
“West almost certainly could have filled the Sprint Center five years ago,” the Kansas City Star reported. “Tuesday’s poor attendance indicates how his scandalous love life, frequent impolite pronouncements and his gradual shift away from conventional hip-hop have alienated many of his fans.”
