With the recent release of Justin Timberlake’s The 20/20 Experience- 2 of 2, its inevitable the album will take the #1 spot in the Billboard 200.
If Timberlake does happen to take #1, this will be his second one of the year, The 20/20 Experience being the first. That being said, industry sources have projected that the album will sell around 325,000 copies in its debut week.
The number of albums sold for the follow up album is considerably lower than the first 20/20 Experience released in March. Part of the problem is that the albums lead single “Take Back The Night” is sitting at only the #29 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Projected to take #2 next week is alternative artist Lorde’s Pure Heroine which is expected to sell between 115-125,000 copies.
