Jay-Z Scores 13th #1 Album with ‘Magna Carta Holy Grail’

Jay-Z has done it again, landing his 13th consecutive #1 album with Magna Carta Holy Grail.

Tuesday night, the rapper further claimed his title as the solo artist with the most #1 albums in history when his latest project, Magna Carta Holy Grail, landed at the top spot on the Billboard 200.

Hova managed to sell an impressive 527,000 copies of Magna Carta Holy Grail in its first week of release, in addition to the 1 million advance copies of the album that were given away for free through a Samsung phone promotion.

Jay-Z’s Magna Carta Holy Grail also set the record for the biggest debut week ever on Spotify, with more than 14 million album streams.
