Green Day Cancels Voodoo Festival Appearance

Green Day canceled their appearance and will no longer be the headliner band for this year’s Voodoo Festival at the end of this month in New Orleans.  Organizers Rehage Entertainment are searching to revise the weekend’s schedule and find a suitable headlining alternative.

The organizers are supporting lead singer of Green Day , Billie Joel Armstrong, with a statement “We are obviously disappointed in the news, but realize the health and well being of Billie Joe is the most important thing right now. We wish him and the entire Green Day family the best and offer them our full support.”

Voodoo Fest is held during the weekend of October 26, 27,28th and is known for its incredible line up. Fans from all over the country come out to festival and guest can even set up camp at the festival during the 3-day weekend held at New Orlean’s historical City Park.
