The Foo Fighters released a new trailer for their upcoming 8-episode documentary series that will air on HBO.
The series, titled Foo Fighters Sonic Highways, deals with the band’s recording process for their upcoming album of the same name. The band wanted to record each of the eight songs off the album in a different U.S. city, and the series shows the group’s experiences recording in Chicago, Austin, Nashville, Los Angeles, Seattle, New Orleans, Washington D.C., and New York. The series will also feature a multitude of stars.
The trailer includes many snippets from the series, and shows interviews with Dolly Parton, Slash, Pharrell, Willie Nelson, Macklemore, and even President Barack Obama.
Foo Fighters Sonic Highways will debut Friday, October 17 at 11pm ET.
