The Star is reporting that Formula 1 race car driver Lewis Hamilton has recorded a secret r&b album. A source close to the paper said, “Not many people know Lewis has been making music in his spare time.”
“He’s really into his R&B and has been cutting lots of songs that fit in with his taste. At the moment he’s fully focused on F1 so it’s unlikely any of the tracks will be made public…but he’s had good feedback from the few people who have heard them.”
Lewis isn’t the first F1 racer that has tried to use his F1 fame to make his way into pop stardom.
In 2007 another former world champion, Jacques Villeneuve, released the album “Private Paradise” which completely bombed.
There should be no worries for Hamilton’ success if he can use the industry contacts from his on and off again girlfriend, X-Factor judge Nichole Scherzinger.
