The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival surprised fans by announcing its highly anticipated lineup Tuesday via Twitter, writing, “For those about to RT.” The tweet has been retweeted over 26,000 times since being posted.
The festival will take place in Indio, California over the course of two three-day weekends, starting April 10th through 12th and April 17th through 19th. The image tweeted out depicts AC/DC, Jack White and Drake as headliners for the Friday, Saturday and Sunday shows, respectively.
Additional big name artists set to perform the first day include Tame Impala, Interpol, Steely Dan, Azealia Banks, Lykke Li, as well as many others. The second day will feature sets by the Weeknd, Alt-J, Belle and Sebastian, Hozier, Bad Religion, Run the Jewels, Swans and FKA Twigs, among others. Performers for the final day will include Florence and the Machine, Kaskade, St. Vincent, David Guetta, Jenny Lewis, Ryan Adams and Mac DeMarco, and many others.
Tickets for both weekends go on sale Wednesday, Dec. 7th at 9 a.m. EST via Coachella.com. Check out the full lineup below!
