After deliberation and interviews with several directors, Disney has selected Guy Ritchie to direct the live-action Hercules film.
Guy Ritchie has been a busy director lately. After Aladdin netted a billion dollars in 2019, he went back to his action film roots with films like The Gentleman, Wrath Of Man with Jason Statham, and this year’s Operation Fortune: Ruse De Guerre.
At this point, details on the story of the new adaptation of Hercules are scarce, but the film’s screenplay has been written by Dave Callaham (Shang-Chi) and produced by the Russo Brothers.
