Are you hooked on a feeling? How about high on believing? If not, you will be as director James Gunn has dropped two new reveals for his forthcoming sequel Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. First, he tweeted out the first poster with the galactic gang posing against a wall with Star Lord (Chris Pratt) giving a disaffected stare as if he were John Bender from The Breakfast Club.
But he didn’t stop there. On Facebook, he indicated that the first trailer will be coming along soon (with Marvel’s Doctor Strange, perhaps?) before treating us with an 80-second tease. Once again, it is set to Blue Swede’s “Hooked on a Feeling,” the same tune used to great effect in the marketing of the first film. We get glimpses of Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, and Rocket Raccoon (voice of Bradley Cooper).
