To kickoff the countdown to Deluna Fest, BackstageOL caught up with Matt & Kim backstage during their stop on the Honda Civic Tour with Blink 182 and My Chemical Romance.
It had been over a year since we talked to Matt & Kim. Last time was at the 2010 Austin City Limits Festival. What’s new for the musical duo? Matt & Kim have gone from playing house parties to crowds of over 17,000 persons. They’ve gone from touring in a 1989 Honda Civic to getting a tour bus. Oh, and they have also had an album certified Gold by RIAA. Not too shabby.
So what’s next for the band?
Hopefully getting to finally move into a house they bought at the beginning of the year.
But before they do that they will be playing the DeLuna Fest in Pensacola Beach, FL on October 14th.
