Mahershala Ali & Viggo Mortensen Fight Racism in GREEN BOOK

Green Book tells the story of Dr. Don Shirley, an African American pianist, traveling to the American South during segregation.

Dave Morales sits down with Mahershala Ali and Viggo Mortensen to talk about their powerful roles in Green Book, one of the best films of the year. Director Peter Farrelly and filmmaker Nick Vallelonga join the interview as well to talk about their inspiration for making the film.

The film’s synopsis:

Dr. Don Shirley is a world-class African-American pianist who’s about to embark on a concert tour in the Deep South in 1962. In need of a driver and protection, Shirley recruits Tony Lip, a tough-talking bouncer from an Italian-American neighborhood in the Bronx. Despite their differences, the two men soon develop an unexpected bond while confronting racism and danger in an era of segregation.
