Jurrasic World: Dominion smashes into theaters today and Dave Morales got to speak with the stars of the film, Bryce Dallas Howard and Chris Pratt in an exclusive Backstage OL interview.
Dominion has been marked as the “last” of the Jurassic World films so when asked whether or not she was sad about the series coming to a close Howard said, “It’s definitely bittersweet but I’ve been a part of enough franchises that I know it’s not a given to actually be able to make three films.”
Howard added, “The fact that we got to be able to do that is something really worth celebrating and I feel really complete with how kind of you know Claire and Owen have turned out.”

When asked the same question Chris Pratt stated that there was “No sadness, I mean there’ll be sadness in like August but the movie comes out June 10th so like I get to still hang out with all these people every day while we’re talking about the movie, selling the movie.”
“So it’s very exciting still and I’m trying to embrace it and be close, be present and so I’m still in it. The party’s not over yet but it’s going to come to a close and then I’ll probably be sad” said Pratt.
Name that Dinosaur
Dave Morales also asked the costars the question we all wanted to know, what would you name a pet dinosaur? Just fair warning, by the way, Howard’s answer will hit kids who grew up in the late 80s and early 90s in the heart.
“The name Little foot for a brachiosaurus was in the land before time and we named our family dog growing up little foot. Those two names are so synonymous with one another so I would love to have a pet brachiosaurus I would call Little foot” said Howard.
Chris Pratt’s choice of dinosaur is much more practical stating that “I’d be getting a flying dinosaur big enough to carry me around.”
“There’s an amazing aerial predator called Quetzalcoatlus, so I would either go ironic and call him Uber and be like yo uber and boom take me down to the store. I’d name them like you know pretzel quetzal, pretzel the quetzal, or atlas” said Pratt.
