Jean-Claude Van Damme is best known for kicking butt and taking names in movies like Bloodsport (1988), Street Fighter (1994) and The Expendables 2 (2012), but this time, Van Damme shows off the peaceful side of his martial arts expertise in a new commercial for Volvo Trucks.
Filmed in Spain on a closed-off landing field at sunrise in one take, the commercial features Van Damme demonstrating the precision and directional stability of Volvo Dynamic Steering — a world first technology that makes the new Volvo FM easier to drive.
The stunt he accomplishes is beyond amazing. Check it out!
After seeing the video for the first time, 21 Jump Street actor Channing Tatum decided he would attempt the stunt on the set of his new movie 22 Jump Street.
“I’ve had my ups and downs. Being an undercover cop. That’s what made me what I am today,” Tatum says in character as he begins the stunt as 21 Jump Street‘s Jenko. “Surviving high school is no easy task. Neither being a college freshman at my age, but because of this, my body is now engineered the laws of physics and the mindset to master the most epic of splits.”
