Suge Knight was arrested this morning in the Los Angeles area for a misdemeanor traffic violation and an outstanding warrant, according to police.
The honcho of Death Row Records was pulled over at 12:30am near Beverly Hills. After a records check police found that Knight had an outstanding warrant stemming from a court appearance he skipped for driving without a license. Police hauled the 48-year-old to county jail where he was booked and released by 4am on a $20,000 bail.
This is definitely not the first time Knight has had a run-in with the law. His wrap sheet is as thick as a book and includes: sentenced to nine years in prison in 1997 for violating terms of probation a previous assault case, violating parole when he hit a parking lot attendant in 2003 (thus returning to prison), civil litigation against him in bankruptcy court in 2006, a 2008 arrest for suspicion of drug possession and aggravated assault, and more.
Seriously, when is someone going to throw away the key on this guy? Don’t even get me started on Tupac.
