Fast and the Furious star Paul Walker reportedly died in a single vehicle accident in Santa Clarita, California on Saturday afternoon.
According to TMZ , Walker was driving a new Porshe GT when he lost control of the vehicle and slammed into a post or tree. The vehicle then caught on fire and exploded, killing Walker and a suspected passenger instantly. The actor was reportedly attending a relief event for the victims of Supertyphoon Haiyan and was giving his friends a ride in his new car.
Paul Walker was 40 years old. Reps for the actor and the Sheriff’s department have not yet confirmed the identity of the individuals killed in the crash.
Police are on the scene and the Los Angeles Coroner’s Office is on the way.
