Shark Week 2014 is back on the Discovery Channel for their annual programming of ultimate shark documentaries, TV specials and movies all week long. The 26th season of Shark Week will be hosted by Rob Lowe and fans will be able to capture all the crazy shark adventures from today until Saturday, August 16. Shark Week is longest running week for a cable TV programing event and 3.6 million viewers tuned in last night earning it’s best ratings thus far.

For the past 60 years reports of a monster hammerhead clocking in at over 20 feet long have circulated throughout Florida. Now, a team of scientists and anglers explore the waters of the world’s largest hammerheads to see if these stories could be true.
10pm Shark After Dark
SHARK WEEK’s late-night live talk show, Shark After Dark, will return. Host Josh Wolf will lead viewers through an hour-long celebration of all things shark-related, including celebrity guests and shark experts. The talk show will give viewers the opportunity to interact live on-air every night with tweets, questions to celebrity guests, and more.
