According to The Hollywood Reporter, Disney star Demi Lovato in is final negotiations to become the fourth judge on Fox’s The X Factor. Demi would join the show’s creator Simon Cowell, record industry executive L.A. Reid and pop singer Britney Spears on the judging panel if the deal is approved.
Simon Cowell has previously stated that he is looking for a judge that will bring a younger audience to the show. Initial reports have said that the final X Factor judge will be a brunette and a former Disney star. Although, Demi Lovato fits the bill she isn’t the only brunette former Disney star in the running.
Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton has reported that Miley Cyrus is in the running for the judging spot as well.
So when will viewers find out who becomes the final judge X Factor Judge?
There is a good chance Simon Cowell will announce the judging line-up on May 14 at an advertising event for the show’s buyers. If The X Factor does not release the judging line-up by then, we’ll definitely know by May 24th when the live audience auditions are taped in Austin, TX.
