Jennifer Love Hewitt is the latest name being rumored as a possible replacement judge on The X-Factor after the departure of L.A. Reid and Britney Spears. Simon Cowell is reportedly “very interested” in having the actress and former pop star join the team.
Hewitt released four studio albums between 1992 and 2002. Her single “How Do I Deal” from the 1999 I Still Know What You Did Last Summer soundtrack topped at #36 on the Mainstream Top 40 Chart. 2002’s “BareNaked” was Hewitt’s highest charting radio hit reaching #31 on the Billboard Adult Top 40 Chart.
Other celebrities that are being considered to join The X Factor include Kelly Rowland (who served as a judge on the UK version) and Reba McEntire.
Earlier this week FOX announced Mario Lopez will be returning as host of The X Factor. His former co-host Khloe Kardashian will not.
