WATCH: ‘The Walking Dead’ Season Seven Trailer Released

TWD S7

Fans of The Walking Dead know what to expect once San Diego Comic Con rolls around; a brand new trailer! It’s been a tradition for the show to release a preview of the new season in the summer, just a few months before the premiere.

This marks The Walking Dead’s seventh season, and after last seasons huge cliffhanger, there’s no signs of the show slowing down.

Last season gave us the question, “Who was killed at the hands of Negan and Lucille (his barbed wire bat)?”. The trailer didn’t answer the question but it did give us a new locale, new characters, and new story lines to keep us guessing until October 23.

Greg Nicotero,  special make-up effects supervisor and co-executive producer, directed the season premiere and told SDCC attendees that “It affected me in a way I didn’t expect. Rick was reduced to no control”. Rick, the main protagonist of the AMC show, is set to face against a brand new villain in Negan as well as meet other popular character from the comic book.

One of those characters being Ezekiel, or as he likes to call himself “King” Ezekiel. For those familiar with the character, “King” also bring a special friend that’s always by his side!

You’ll have to see it for yourself.

The Walking Dead is back on October 23 at 8 PM CST on AMC!
