FX has released the first teaser for the new season of American Horror Story, and it features a glimpse of Lady Gaga.
The ten second sneak peek shows what appears to be Gaga’s silver hand ringing the bell at the front desk.
Over the weekend at San Diego Comic-Con, creator Ryan Murphy revealed a few details about Gaga’s character.
“She said, ‘I want to be evil,’” Murphy recalled from when he first met with Gaga about the role. “I said, ‘You came to the right place.’”
“When you work with someone like her, you sign up for something that is larger than life, and I think that’s what you want,” Murphy added at the Comic-Con panel. “Part of her role involves fashion. You want Lady Gaga to look a certain way. The designers have been coming out of the woodwork with looks for her.”
Murphy also revealed some character names from the new season. Matt Bomer is Donovan, Kathy Bates is Iris, Evan Peters is Mr. March, and Sarah Paulson is Hypodermic Sally. The series will also star Wes Bentley, Cheyenne Jackson, Chloe Sevigny, Evan Peters, Max Greenfield and Angela Bassett.
American Horror Story: Hotel premieres on FX this October.
