Triple H suffered 2nd degree burns due to dry ice sticking onto his body during Wrestlemania XXIX last weekend.
While Triple H was making his dramatic entrance towards the ring he was hit by the dry ice used as part of the show’s special effects to create the illusion of smoke. Some of the dry ice stuck to the wrestler’s skin, causing second degree burns.
Triple H said he could feel the pain instantly, but ignored it and continued towards the ring. Throughout the show fans could notice something white stuck on his torso and arms but couldn’t figure out exactly what was on his body at that moment.
Triple H tweeted a picture to his fans so they could see the seriousness of his second degree burns:
Besides some possible scarring, he is expected to make a full recovery.
