Time magazine announced it’s list of the 100 most influential people on Wednesday.
The list is divided into five categories: Moguls, Breakouts, Icons, Pioneers and Leaders.
In case you were worried, Adele DID make the list. Some of the other celebrities making the cut were Rihanna, comedians Steven Colbert and Chelsea Handler, as well as “The Help” actresses Viola Davis and Jessica Chastain.
The list is accompanied by profiles written by fellow celebrity admirers. Regarding Adele, singer Pink wrote, “Go to Mars right now and I’m pretty sure if there is life on that planet, they’re playing Adele. And for good reason. I am so relieved that Adele possesses the kind of beauty that she does, that she’s crass and funny and that she sings live — and incredibly.”
Some of the other names on the list include President Barack Obama, Warren Buffett, Mitt Romney, Harvey Weinstein, Apple CEO Tim Cook, Hillary Clinton, Ron Paul, Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, and her sister Pippa Middleton.
Also included in the list were athletes Tim Tebow of the NFL and NBA breakout star Jeremy Lin.
Controversial political figures making the ninth annual list include Syrian President Bashar Assad, North Korean Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un and Taliban leader Mullah Mohammed Omar.
The magazine will celebrate its Top 100 issue with a star-studded gala and performance by Rihanna on April 24 at New York City’s Frederick P. Rose Hall.
