Today E! announced they have picked up a new reality series, tentatively titled The Wanted Life, which follows U.K. boy-band The Wanted as they move to the U.S. and plan to record their third studio album.
“We’re moving into Hollywood into a big house. We’re not actually too sure where yet… for a certain period of time doing a bit of filming, bit of fly on the wall. I feel so sorry for [the neighbors], apologies now if it is you! We’re all really excited about it,” The Wanted’s Max George announced on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show this morning. Seacrest will serve as creator and executive producer on the series.
“Normally it’s me and Jay spend quite a lot of time outside of our own home for whatever reason, so I think me and Jay will be doing a lot of staying elsewhere… Mattress surfing?” George added.
The show has yet to begin filming but the group’s manager Scooter Braun (who also manages Justin Bieber, Carly Rae Jespen and PSY) wrote on Twitter that the pilot episode is hilarious.
“I have seen the pilot episode… trust me…get ready to love these guys and die laughing. @TheWantedon E! coming VERY SOON!” Braun exclaimed.
How soon? Expect The Wanted Life to premiere this June.
