‘Stranger Things 2’ Big Game Spot

Now this is a teaser. The Super Bowl has presented television ads for the likes of Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale, FX’s Feud and Legion, and Fox’s Shots Fired and APB. But the TV spot of the night goes to Netflix’s Stranger Things 2.

A smash hit for the streaming service when it debuted last summer, Netflix has been rather quiet regarding its return. In 30 seconds we learn a few things. The first is that season two will debut on Halloween weekend. The second is that Will and the gang are dressed as Ghostbusters at one point. Starting out with a 1970s/’80s Eggo commercial we break to the promo where it looks like strange(r) things are afoot.
