Storage Wars star Mark Balelo committed suicide today by carbon monoxide poisoning after he was arrested for a drug-related offense on Saturday.
Balelo was found dead in his car which was parked and running inside his auction house in Simi Valley, CA.
There are reports that Balelo had called his girlfriend after he was released on bail because he was afraid he was going to hurt himself. The couple met, talked the situation over, and was reportedly “fine” after a four hour nap. Balelo’s fiance left him at the office Sunday night.
This morning an employee of Balelo found his employer dead inside his car.
Mark Balelo had appeared on numerous Storage Wars episodes since the show’s second season.
There is no word what charges Balelo was facing due to his Saturday arrest.
