Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi admitted in her new book, Baby Bumps: From Party Girl to Proud Mama And All The Messy Milestones Along The Way, that her “Snooki & Jwoww” reality show with co-star Jenni “Jwoww” Farley is scripted.
Snooki confessed that producers had to “rewrite” the show’s first season when she revealed her pregnancy back in 2012.
Snooki wrote in her book, “Since clubs and bars were out for filming, we had to come up with creative alternatives for funny scenes. Jenni and I filmed in a pet store, in a baby clothing store, at a psychic’s and at the doctor’s office … We managed to cobble together some hilarious and intense moments.”
When the show first aired, it was slammed by critics for being noticeably too scripted.
Jwoww also confirmed the rumors that their reality show is heavily scripted. She announced she was pregnant with her first child on Christmas Day. Now four months into pregnancy, she has actually been losing weight from morning sickness and had to be put on anti-nausea medication.
