Sharp has unveiled a new line of 4K Ultra HD TVs for 2015 starting well under $1,000.
Sharp revealed its new 2015 Sharp Aquos 4K UHD lineup during the CES 2015 press conference. The line-up will offer seven screen sizes and will include the new Sharp “Beyond 4K Ultra HD” TV. The 4K TV will be a massive 80-inch panel and will feature Sharp’s Quattron technology. Quattron technology will stand from the crowd and it’s competition, because Quattron splits the TV’s pixels horizontally, offering a vertical resolution of 4,320 pixels which is better than a standard 4K TV.
Sharp is also offering several 4K TVs in the lineup for under $1,000. A Sharp Aquos UB30 will be offered in various models ranging from 43 inches up to 65 inches and will be priced starting “under $750.”
The company is also offering the UE30 line which will give you screen size options of 60, 70, and 80 inches. These models will be priced starting at $2,000. The UH30 line offers two models at 70 and 80 inches, but they will be priced starting at $3,200. The UE30 and UH30 lines will all be smart TVs that run the new Android TV interface.
This new lineup of Sharp 4K TVs will be available in Spring 2015.
