Sarah Jessica Parker Returns to TV in HBO’s ‘Divorce’

Sarah Jessica Parker is returning to television over a decade after her last series Sex and the City concluded back in 2004.

Parker debuted the trailer for her new series Divorce on Instagram Wednesday. “A long time coming. And a great thrill that my friends @hbo allowed me to share with you the official FIRST look and just a wee appetizer of #DivorceHBO,” she wrote in the post.

Parker stars as Frances, a woman who suddenly begins to reassess her life and her marriage, and finds that making a clean break and a fresh start is harder than she thought.

Divorce also stars Thomas Haden Church, Molly Shannon, Talia Balsam and Tracy Letts. Parker is one of the executive producers for the show.

Divorce will premiere on HBO this fall.
