Rob Lowe to be Roasted on Comedy Central

Comedy Central announced Thursday that this year’s celebrity roast victim will be Rob Lowe.

“Rob Lowe is handsome, talented, successful and handsome,” Comedy Central President Kent Alterman said. “He needs to be roasted.”

The roast will air later this year. It is currently not known when the taping will take place, but it will be in Los Angeles. It also has not been revealed which celebrity guests will appear to make fun of the actor.

“What a thrill to once again be following in Justin Bieber’s footsteps,” Lowe said in a statement. “I look forward to a night of hilarious jokes recycled from the James Franco Roast. I would like to express my gratitude to the members of my family who have passed away and therefore will not have to endure what promises to be a very special evening.”
