In a recent New York Times article, President Obama revealed that he enjoys watching a few critically acclaimed television series in order to wind down from a busy day in the Oval Office.
Series such as Homeland and House of Cards made the presidents list, but like many others, Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad are at the top of his list.
Times has reported that the 44th President is currently making his way through the 62 episode Breaking Bad journey of chemistry teacher turned drug lord and “frequently reminds those around him not to give anything away.”
This isn’t the first time President Obama has voiced his admiration for television. In the past, the president had discussed his love for Modern Family and Parks and Recreation, which he enjoys watching with the rest of the family.
While the political world may be vexatious and unethical, T.V lovers may rest easy knowing their president has good taste in television.
AMC is currently running a non-stop, four-day Breaking Bad marathon that runs until Monday. The cable network is airing all 62 episodes of the Emmy Award-winning show.
