A new comedy TV series inspired by hip-hop artist Notorious B.I.G.’s life and music is currently in the works at TBS.
The show is called Think B.I.G. and focuses on an inner-city teenager trying to create a better life for his daughter and infant son. Plotlines of the show will be loosely based on the rapper’s lyrics. The story also appears to be partially influenced by the life of Notorious B.I.G., who grew up in Brooklyn and had a daughter at age 21.
The project arrives nearly twenty years after the rapper’s death at the age of 24 in a drive-by shooting in Los Angeles.
Think B.I.G. is being produced by media company Mass Appeal and Notorious B.I.G.’s mother Voletta Wallace.
