New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees will appear on Thursday’s episode of “Sesame Street” on PBS Kids.
The episode was filmed in a studio in Los Angeles last April where Brees brought along his wife, Brittany, and two young sons, Baylen and Bowen.
“They were so excited to meet Elmo,” said Carol-Lynn Parente, Sesame Street’s executive producer. “Drew is one of the celebrities who grew up watching ‘Sesame Street’…He’s a great role model, and he’s someone parents respect. That’s important to us.'”
The segment filmed involves Brees teaching the meaning of the word “measure” in the show’s “Word on the Street” segment.
Brees definitely knows the meaning of “measure”. Leading the NFL with 4,368 yards and 32 touchdowns this season, he is expected to break Dan Marino’s single season passing record this year.
