Netflix’s Releases Trailer for New Series ‘Marco Polo’

Netflix’s newest original series Marco Polo is set to premiere next month, and the streaming service has released the first full-length trailer for the drama.

The 10-episode series focuses on 13th century Italian merchant Marco Polo and his experience serving Mongol emperor Kublai Khan, who sends him on a quest.

Marco Polo stars Lorenzo Richelmy, along with Benedict Wong, Joan Chen, Chin Han, and Olivia Cheng. John Fusco created the series, which is a co-production between Netflix and The Weinstein Company. It debuts December 12 on Netflix.
