Miss USA has won the Miss Universe Crown for the 1st time since 1997.
Twenty-year-old Boston University sophomore Olivia Culpo took home the Miss Universe Crown last night, leaving second and third place to finalists Janine Tugonon (Philippines) and Irene Sofia Esser Quintero (Venezuela).
This year’s Miss Universe Pageant was held at the Planet Hollywood Casino in Las Vegas. The pageant featured eighty-nine beautiful ladies from around the world to compete for the Miss Universe title. The contestants were judged by musician Cee Lo Green, Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto and San Francisco Giant Pablo Sandova.
The ladies were judged in a variety of categories, but by the end of the night Miss USA, originally titled Miss Rhode Island, was crowned Miss Universe last night.
