Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom are officially separated after claims of Odom not taking his drug abuse problem seriously. Lamar has been battling his addiction for at least two years now. He agreed to do time in rehab last year, but left early after only three weeks.
The couple is now living apart after the hit reality star allegedly threw her husband out of their house on Wednesday. After the incident, Lamar was reportedly missing for 72 hours before emerging on the night of August 25, according to TMZ.
Khloe has been embarrassed because rumors have been leaked that Lamar has been cheating on her. Kim Kardashian told HollywoodLife, “But in reality he’s been doing drugs and she [Khloe] hasn’t wanted to start a family with him while he’s like that. She’s never been able to tell everyone the truth because she’s been protecting him.”
Another source told People, “It’s a really hard time for Khloe, she’s kept this secret for almost two years trying to save Lamar and their marriage.”
Khloe turned to Twitter to rant after rumors spread online about Lamar. “Really hard to sit here and listen to people talk s*** about my family! F*** you and shame on you! I’m too protective for this s***!”
TMZ reports that Khloe met with Lamar today at an undisclosed location after the NBA player went “into the dark world of crack cocaine” this past week.
It looks like Khloe may be following in her big sister’s footsteps…
