Justin Bieber and Nick Jonas may be mentors on the upcoming season of “X-Factor.”
Bieber will reportedly work with L.A. Reid to help mentor his group on the show. He tweeted this week, “long day but great day. @LA_Reid @ScooterBraun just like old times! Thanks.”
Nick Jonas may team up with Demi Lovato to mentor her group when the final 16 contestants are picked.
It’s also rumored that Lovato will handle solo singers ages 12 to 16, Britney Spears will mentor singers 17 to 24, L.A. Reid will judge ages 25 and over, with Simon Cowell guiding the groups.
Neither reps for Bieber nor Jonas have commented on the news.
Kevin Jonas told MTV News, “I think he would bring insight to it, unlike a lot of people. At his age, he’s been able to accomplish so much and be able to do so many kinds of things, whether it was Broadway, whether it was like pop music, whether it was producing for other artists. Like he’s done it mostly all, so I think he can have his feet planted on the ground to be a good judge.”
