Jimmy Kimmel Enjoys Ratings Boost Thanks to NBA Finals

In addition to the Golden State Warriors, Jimmy Kimmel was also a winner of the NBA Finals.

ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live averaged 1.03 million adults 18-49 for the week of June 8 – 12, which was the highest weekly average for the late night show in 19 months.

The two nights of Kimmel when it aired after an NBA Finals game last week had to start later than usual. However, it still managed to lead latenight telecasts that week in the 18-49 demo. 1.755 million adults 18-49 tuned in for Thursday’s show after Game 4, marking a series high for Kimmel. Tuesday’s telecast after Game 3 brought in 1.463 million adults 18-49.

Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon remained the top late night program last week, with an average of 1.105 million vieweres in the 18-49 demo. Kimmel did manage to top the 18-34 demo with a 0.64 rating for the week.
