Jay Leno will be wrapping up his run at “The Tonight Show” with the guest who started it all. On May 25, 1992 Leno kick started his 22-year run on the late night program with comedian Billy Crystal. Now on February 6, 2014 Crystal will be Leno’s last guest.
“The Tonight Show” veteran has quite a line-up of celebrities for his last week on air, including Betty White, Matthew McConaughey, Sandra Bullock, Blake Shelton, Lyle Lovett (after this appearance he will become the most frequent musical guest on Leno’s show), Charles Barkley, and finally, Billy Crystal. Jay’s predecessor, Jimmy Fallon, will also be a guest on the show during it’s final week with Leno.
Jimmy Fallon will takeover hosting duties of “The Tonight Show” on Feb. 17 with special guests Will Smith and U2. The show will begin at midnight (EST) for its first week due to Olympics coverage in Sochi, but the show will return to its regular time at 11:35 pm on February 24.
