Is Avril Lavigne The Next ‘X Factor’ Judge?

There as so many rumors floating around about who will replace Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger on the next season of the X Factor!

Simon Cowell has been frantically scrambling to fill the ladies’ seats on the panel. Names that have been thrown around to replace the two judges include Beyonce, Mariah Carey, Katy Perry, Janet Jackson, Britney Spears and the late Whitney Houston.

The Canadian punk singer, Avril Lavigne is now in talks to be one of those new judges.

TMZ reports that Lavigne had her “people” reach out to the ‘X Factor’ team to convey her interest in the show. A source told the site that since Lavigne entered the business at such a young age, therefore she feels like she’d be a good coach for the younger kids on the show.

The singer has has a connection to one of the show’s judges L. A. Reid, Lavigne’s former mentor, and she performed on the season one finale with Chris Rene.

No official announcement has been made on who the judges will be for season two of “The X Factor”!
