‘House of Cards’ Now Available for Comcast Subscribers

Comcast Xfinity customers can now watch the popular Netflix drama “House of Cards” through the Xfinity store.

Season one of “House of Cards” will soon be available to purchase through the Xfinity store thanks to an agreement with Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, but Netflix still holds exclusive streaming rights for “House of Cards”. Netflix currently streams seasons one and two of the popular show staring Kevin Spacey, Michael Gill and Robin Wright.

Comcast is not the first company to provide the political drama outside of Netflix, but this is great for viewers who do not subscribe to video streaming services like Amazon Prime, Vudu, Google Play and other digital retailers who also allow viewers to purchase episodes of the show.

Comcast also revealed that customers will also be able to purchase “Orange is the New Black”, which is also another popular Netflix original series. “Orange is the New Black” will be available on the Xfinity Store on May 13th.
