TLC has announced the return of Alana “Honey Boo Boo” and her “Mama Bear” June!
Season 1 of Here Comes Boo Boo was a hit, attracting an average of 2.4 million viewers per episode during the ten episode season. The season included a Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas special that aired in January and February of this year that delivered strong numbers.
The hit redneck reality show returns this summer in July full of new and crazy adventures.
“This summer, get ready to watch the family take part in hijinks like butter rolling, tap dancing lessons and wrestling events,” said TLC on Monday.
In season 2 we will get to see June “Mama Bear” Shannon and Mike “Sugar Bear” Thompson tie the knot at their redneck wedding ceremony which occurred this past Sunday. Guests who attended the wedding were not aloud to bring cameras and were told to dress up in full redneck attire. The wedding will be part of the new season that fans are eagerly awaiting for.
