‘Harry Potter’ Gets Its Own TV Channel

There will soon be a channel fully dedicated to the Harry Potter franchise!

Sky Movies Great in the UK will be renamed Sky Movies Harry Potter for nine days starting October 24th and ending November 9th. The channel is in honor of the first film’s fifteenth anniversary, and will feature all eight films, documentaries, behind-the-scenes specials, exclusive extended versions and interviews with the lead stars Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint.

Sky Movies’ Director Ian Lewis said in a press release, “We are thrilled to be able to bring the wizarding world of Harry Potter to our customers, all in one place so they can enjoy the magic of this timeless story whenever and wherever it suits them.”

The Harry Potter films were originally released in cinemas between 2001 and 2011. A spin-off film with a screenplay written by J.K. Rowling, Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them, starring Eddie Redmayne, is set for release on November 18th, 2016.
